It was the last weekend of the Cherry Blossom Festival and our last weekend in Macon. Harrison had been down in Jacksonville getting our new house ready to move in and suggested we walk to our favorite downtown restaurant for dinner as we often did. Suddenly, he got down on one knee and said “So will you marry me?” Of course, Veronica said “Yes!”
